On Christmas Eve, we went on an option to visit the Salzkammergut Lakes. These first two pictures were taken at the edge of Lake Mondsee. The town where these were taken is also home to the church where the wedding scene in 'The Sound of Music' was filmed.

An hour or so later found us in the town of St. Gilgen, on the edge of the Wolfgangsee lake.

These cable cars went high up above the clouds.

Christmas Day in Kirchberg was blessed with snow fall.
